Understand the different legal obligations of higher education institutions versus vendors to provide accessible information and communication technology under federal civil rights laws. Recognize the importance that planning plays in the procurement process. Recognize how VPATs and accessibility testing can inform the selection process. Be prepared to review and modify contracts to help prevent accessibility problems.
