The Accessibility Knowledge Base Team manages and develops a Knowledge Base for the NWHeat website. This resource contains or links to many kinds of accessibility information, with an emphasis on regional resources. We also occasionally publish blog posts that introduce or summarize current accessibility topics.
Join a team of people with a shared interest in advancing accessibility on our campuses. We are recruiting volunteers who bring one or more of the following interests and skills:
- Enjoy discovering reliable sources of accessibility-related information
- Interest in information management, such as creating taxonomies or controlled vocabularies
- Contribute to building a community of accessibility advocates around our region
- Enjoy creating original content for our blog posts
- Help manage our WordPress site
